CAMP

October Half Term Camp (4 - 13yrs)

Bishop Milner Catholic School

Midland Futsal Academy are into our 13th year of running our football coaching organisation. We have unique coaching techniques developed from the game of Futsal to put into every day football. These techniques are developed at a very high intensity and focuses on each individual. Our focus is based on technical ability and for young players to be comfortable with the ball at their feet.  The skills of Futsal place considerable demand on technique, movement, tactical awareness and fitness, demanding quick reflexes, fast thinking and pinpoint passing. Futsal encourages players to become more agile, faster, stronger and have better balance. Futsal also helps youngsters become more comfortable with the ball and gives them lots of opportunities to practise dribbling, passing, turning, shooting and ball control in tight spaces whilst under pressure. We achieve this by every student having their own individual football for 40 minutes of the training session. We believe by having thousands of touches of the ball, our students learn to master the art of control of the football. We then follow our training with small sided games, where our students get plenty of touches of the football in a pressured environment, encouraging quick movements off the ball, incredible ball control and instinctive decision making.
